Beldex Opens $1 Million Global Grants Program for Privacy Developers
Beldex has opened a rolling $1 million grants program for teams building privacy apps, payment tools and infrastructure on its network.
Beldex has opened a $1 million global grants program for developers, startups and teams building privacy-focused applications, tools and infrastructure on its network. Announced on October 12, 2026, the program accepts proposals on a rolling basis rather than through a fixed application window.
The initiative is designed to expand development beyond the project's internal products. It offers flexible funding, but it does not set a standard grant size or a predetermined number of recipients. Every proposal will be assessed individually.
Who can apply and what qualifies
Applicants may be based anywhere in the world, subject to applicable legal and sanctions restrictions. A qualifying project must be built on, or meaningfully use, the Beldex network. Privacy must also be a fundamental part of the architecture, functionality or user experience.
Suggested areas include privacy-focused decentralized applications, private payment infrastructure, privacy tokens, developer tools, SDKs, core protocol contributions and decentralized private swaps. Early ideas and projects already in development may both apply.
The broader digital-asset environment can be followed through OrangeX.com Spot Markets, while custody transparency is available through OrangeX.com Proof of Reserves. These resources provide market context and are separate from the grants program.
How proposals move from review to deployment
The published process begins with an application describing the project, its use of the network, development plan and funding needs. The team then reviews eligibility, technical feasibility, privacy innovation, ecosystem impact, security standards and milestone clarity.
Selected applicants may receive a project-specific proposal defining funding, requirements and milestones. Development can proceed through prototype, test, refinement and mainnet stages. Available tools include a Privacy Token Standard on testnet, an extension wallet and a Web3.js SDK.
The terms make an important distinction: submitting an application, or advancing to further review, does not guarantee an award. The aggregate program budget is up to $1 million, while the amount, timing, denomination and structure of each grant remain case-specific.
Readers can track related ecosystem developments through OrangeX.com Crypto News and review operational safeguards in the OrangeX.com Trust Center.
OrangeX.com Analysis
The program gives privacy developers a defined route from proposal to testnet and potential mainnet deployment. Its rolling structure may accommodate projects at different stages, but the headline budget should not be treated as money already awarded.
The strongest evidence of impact will be the quality of selected teams, disclosed milestones, usable documentation and successful movement from prototypes to production. Security review and legal eligibility will matter as much as the number of applications.
